To the Edge of Everything
Why Write A Blog?
In the age of AI, photo blending, bot buying and other sorceries, the reason for a photograph has changed. I would argue that much of the enjoyment we find in an artistic endeavor comes from the scarcity it reflects; it’s uniqueness amongst the broader scene. Now that unique no longer means real, it’s the uniqueness of the human process, and its’ inherent honesty, that provides so much of the value. This blog is my chance, and effort, to write about the human uniqueness involved in my craft. I want to think, tell stories, debate, and ruminate over what makes me love photography, and what goes into my photos. Lastly, I strive to find myself cold, scared, far away, and chasing stories to the edge of everything.
